Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a senior procurement leader to manage and develop the Sourcing Hub team in Poland. You will guide price and contract negotiations, align with global standards, and drive performance against targets while implementing process improvements and strategic initiatives.

You will interact with finance and category teams, maintain stakeholder relationships, and lead projects across footprints, product changes and supplier negotiations.

Qualifications

• +10 years of experience in procurement (purchasing and/or category management)
• Experience in indirect category procurement
• +5 years in a management/leadership role
• +5 years in multinational/global roles
• Experience with Global Business Services
• Project management and continuous improvement experience
• Proven management ability to lead and deliver targets
• Fluent English and full business proficiency
• Polish native or fluent with business proficiency
• German language is advantageous
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, SAP Ariba, Power BI and AP tools
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience with e-sourcing tools (e.g. Jaggaer) and contract lifecycle tools
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• Knowledge of procurement policies and continuous improvement mindset
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Sourcing Hub team in line with company standards
• Own price and contract negotiations guidance and escalations
• Ensure staffing, training and adherence to policies and processes
• Deliver and monitor performance targets and KPIs
• Contribute to Sourcing Hub strategy, action plans and programs
• Assess capacities and adjust to demand and organizational changes
• Represent the hub in escalations with upper management
• Implement efficient ways of working and process improvements
• Ensure optimal use of resources and project execution
• Collaborate with finance and category teams for transparency
• Drive category strategies and project deliveries (footprint changes, new products)
• Coordinate end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities
• Provide project status updates and performance reporting
