Job summary

E-HUB energy is seeking a Head of Procurement to lead the supply chain for a battery storage systems manufacturer. The role requires directing procurement for critical components, negotiating with international suppliers, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliveries to Legnica and beyond.

The successful candidate will build strong supplier relationships, establish robust procurement processes, and align procurement activities with production schedules and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for negotiations, correspondence and contracts.
• Experience establishing or developing procurement processes and teams.
• Strong negotiation and performance management skills.
• Ability to assess total purchasing value including quality, delivery reliability, warranty terms and supply risk.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and BOMs to compare technically compliant offers.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies for key categories (battery cells, packs, PCS, transformers, switchgear, containers, fire protection systems and automation).
• Establish supplier qualification, RFQs, bid comparison, approvals and order tracking processes.
• Conduct supplier due diligence on capacity, finances, quality systems, certifications, delivery performance and warranties.
• Lead international negotiations on pricing, lead times, payment terms, warranties and long-term supply agreements.
• Plan purchases against production schedules and forecasts, especially for long-lead items.
• Develop alternative suppliers to reduce dependency on a single manufacturer.
• Coordinate deliveries with production, logistics, quality and finance; build the procurement team as production grows.
