Job summary

InPost Group in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Payments & Checkout domain to scale an engineering organization delivering payment and checkout capabilities.

You will lead an engineering team of ~24–25 engineers across three squads, mentor Engineering Managers and Tech Leads, drive AI adoption and establish KPIs, SLAs, and software quality metrics to power growth in fintech-enabled logistics.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical background in Java ecosystem (Spring Boot) or equivalent microservices.
• Experience leading multi-team engineering organizations.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and modern backend practices.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and scalability of payment, checkout, and sales-related products.
• Lead an engineering organization of about 24–25 engineers across 3 teams.
• Develop Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and senior engineers.
• Set technical standards, architectural delivery, and domain governance.
• Shape technology strategy with Product, Business, and Engineering stakeholders.
• Manage dependencies and ensure high-quality delivery at scale.
• Drive AI adoption to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
