Job summary

InPost is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Widget & Basket App Team in Warsaw, Poland. This role involves overseeing a group of talented engineers responsible for backend services and widget creation within the InPostPay platform.

We're looking for a candidate with 6+ years in software development, and proven leadership skills. You will have the opportunity to drive product development while working in an international and flexible environment focused on engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• 2+ years of experience in people leadership.
• 2+ years of experience in project or delivery management.
• Very good command of English (B2+) in speech and writing.
• Strong technical background in Java.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure technologies (especially GCP and AWS) and past experiences with cloud migration.
• Experience with system design and modern engineering practices.
• Proven ability to lead change and build teams in evolving environments.
• Product mindset with end-to-end ownership.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and large language models to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee & develop the team – mentor engineers and foster a collaborative environment.
• Own the product – drive planning and execution of the product roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership – guide architecture, coding standards, and security practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally – ensure clear communication across teams.
• Ensure quality & performance – maintain high standards for code quality and system performance.
