Job summary

Cycle is seeking a Hardware Lead based in Poznań to oversee hardware development from concept to mass production, collaborating with design, engineering, quality, compliance, supply chain and manufacturing.

You will drive schedules, manage budgets, lead design reviews, and coordinate international manufacturing partners, with travel as needed. English proficiency is essential, and bicycle industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mass production experience from concept to mass production.
• Strong hardware/electronics development background.
• Minimum 3 years in hardware engineering environment.
• Ability to communicate across cultures, especially with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Project Scheduling: develop and manage detailed hardware project timelines for on-time delivery.
• Budget and Cost Tracking: monitor and control project budgets to align with targets.
• Workstream Prioritization: coordinate and prioritize engineering tasks to meet deadlines.
• Stakeholder Communication: provide clear updates on status, risks and milestones.
• Design Phase Reviews: lead reviews to ensure quality, safety and performance.
• Risk Management: proactively track and mitigate product risks.
• BOM Management: oversee BOM changes and accuracy.
• Change Control: manage changes to existing products to maintain quality.
• NPI Program Development: lead creation and execution of New Product Introductions.
• Process Development: optimize processes for risk management and critical path tracking.
• International Collaboration: travel to manufacturing facilities and coordinate with supply chain partners.
