Job summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and hardware testing. Collaborating with embedded engineers is a key part of the role, ensuring smooth integration of hardware and software.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in hardware design including multi-layer PCBs, and a solid knowledge of both analog and digital electronics. Interest in battery-powered systems and RF layout are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HW design, including multi-layer PCBs.
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets and application notes.
• Good documentation practices and version control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Schematic capture and PCB layout in Altium or KiCAD.
• Component selection and BOM creation.
• Hardware bring-up, testing, and validation.
• Collaboration with embedded engineers for software-hardware integration.
• Documentation of hardware designs.
