Job summary

Pivotal Solutions is seeking a hands-on Manager of Data Science and Business Intelligence to lead a small team and partner with business and IT. You will design data architectures, develop reporting, and drive analytics across manufacturing, B2B, and e-commerce domains.

The role requires strong SQL, data modeling and ML skills, plus experience with data warehousing and PowerBI. This is a leadership, hands-on position shaping multi-year data roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Data Engineering, CS or related field required.
• 8+ years of experience in data science and analytics.
• 3–5 years in team leadership or management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small data science/BI team and collaborate with business/IT.
• Build data warehouse and reporting solutions and dashboards.
• Develop PowerBI reports and KPI dashboards for the business.
• Design data models and data monitoring across products.
• Apply ML, anomaly detection and analytics to ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate with third-party IT vendors and stakeholders.
