Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a friendly Host/Guest Assistant to provide welcoming service and ensure guests have an outstanding dining experience. You will greet guests, manage seating, and support servers to maintain a smooth flow during busy periods.

You will also assist with to-go bakery orders, check out guests at the register, and help keep the dining room and lobby clean and inviting throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught through in house training.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly and efficient service to guests according to company policies, procedures, programs and performance standards.
• Control the flow of business in the dining room so guests feel welcome and comfortable.
• Greet and seat guests; check out guests at the register; ensure 100% guest satisfaction on every visit.
• Assist crew members with to-go orders and bussing tables; keep areas clean and well stocked.
• Maintain a clean cashier area, bakery cases, displays, lobby, entryway and restrooms throughout the shift.
