Job summary

Gebauer & Griller is seeking a Senior Group Accountant to lead group accounting activities, financial reporting and consolidation processes across the group. You will manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closings at the group level and drive harmonization of accounting and finance processes.

You will take ownership of SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA initiatives, support internal and external audits, collaborate with international stakeholders, and contribute to finance transformation projects.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Group Accounting, Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Controlling, or Finance Transformation.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting, consolidation, reporting, and closing processes.
• Familiarity with international manufacturing environments is considered a plus.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• A background in finance transformation, end-to-end process optimization, or system implementation projects is highly desirable.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, complemented by knowledge of reporting and analytics solutions such as SAC or Power BI, are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Team player with structured, proactive, and hands-on working style.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and international teams.
• Fluent English.
• German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
