Job summary

Creotech Instruments in Warszawa, Poland, is seeking Python developers with a quality-first mindset to support Ground Segment engineering, including operating Creotech’s satellites in orbit and in testing facilities. You will implement automations of satellite operational procedures, assist test execution, and deploy applications via Infrastructure as Code.

Ideal candidates have solid Python and Linux skills, know GitLab CI, and are comfortable with English; experience with Docker and hardware

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of English.

Scope of duties:

• Implement automations of satellite operational procedures in Python
• Help our crews in test execution, providing programming/automation expertise
• Deploy our applications on testing setups via Infrastructure as Code
• Help Satellite Operators debug issues with Mission Control Systems
• Aid Creotech’s external partners integrate with Creotech’s satellites and ground control
• Junior or Mid qualifications
• Solid knowledge of Python
• Solid knowledge of Linux (you’ll be working only on Linux)
• Understanding of CI/CD systems (we’re running GitLab CI)
• Knowledge of English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code
• Any experience with hardware testing
