HITACHI ENERGY SERVICES SP. Z O.O. in Krakow, Poland, seeks an industrial specialist with expertise in power system analysis and high-level programming to drive innovative software for grid applications.

Qualifications

Master's degree in electrical/power systems or related field.
Hands-on modelling and steady-state analysis of power grids.
Experience applying optimization methods to power systems.
Proficiency in C#, C++, Rust; Python/Matlab preferred.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and HPC concepts.
Familiarity with IEC standards and grid monitoring tools.
Strong English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Design innovative approaches for grid operation and deliver robust software modules.
Translate power-system problems into rigorous models and solutions.
Collaborate with global interdisciplinary team to move concepts to production.
Build relationships with universities, startups, vendors to integrate perspectives.
Communicate concepts clearly to developers, engineering teams, and customers; produce design docs.
