Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to own and evolve our Google Cloud Landing Zone. In Warsaw, you will build new capabilities, keep the platform healthy, secure, and reliable, and collaborate with application teams across the cloud journey.

You will design infrastructure as code with Terraform, manage configuration with Ansible, and automate with Python and Bash, while advancing zero-trust networking and incident response processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on cloud engineering at enterprise scale.
• Strong Google Cloud experience and Landing Zone design.
• Terraform and Ansible for IaC/automation.
• Python and Bash programming.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud networking (VPC, Interconnect).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Google Cloud Landing Zone features.
• Create reusable Landing Zone solutions for app teams.
• Design and run CI/CD pipelines with automated tests.
• Review PRs and contribute to architecture docs.
• Identify and close gaps in automation.
• Design networking foundation: VPCs, Shared VPC, Interconnect.
• Enable hybrid connectivity via Interconnect, Cloud VPN.
• Apply zero-trust access controls with IAM and VPC Service Controls.
• Establish governance using organization policy and Terraform blueprints.
• Build observability dashboards for the platform.
• Lead P1/P2 incident response and post-incident improvements.
