Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Group Technical Accounting and External Audit Senior Manager to drive external audits and external financial reporting excellence. The role sits within the Group Consolidation, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting and External Audit management team.

The candidate will monitor IFRS and ISA rules, support National Finance Directors, interact with CSSF/AMF on material topics, and coordinate audits during half-year and year-end closings.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Engineering; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in external audit, internal audit and/or financial controlling roles.
• IFRS and ISA accounting expertise; Lux GAAP is a plus.
• Multinational finance policies, processes and systems knowledge.
• Strong project and change management skills; leadership capabilities.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor adoption of new accounting and auditing rules and analyse impacts on external reporting.
• Support National Finance Directors and Global Finance Leads on accounting matters.
• Interact with CSSF and AMF on material accounting topics.
• Lead CSRD ESG reporting in collaboration with Sustainability teams.
• Coordinate external audits during half-year and year-end close.
• Manage external auditors' fees and appointments across the Group.
• Provide updates on audit status, findings and remediation actions.
• Identify opportunities to optimize external audits with various stakeholders.
