Job summary

John Galt Solutions seeks a highly analytical Technical Support Engineer to provide multi-region, end-to-end support across Levels 1–3. The role focuses on in-depth troubleshooting in SQL Server, API integrations, Linux/Windows administration, and DevOps workflows.

The ideal candidate will handle complex data integration, ETL processes, and security and IAM tasks while bridging technical infrastructure with supply chain logic in a fast-paced environment.

• Availability to work according to Amsterdam (CET/CEST) time zone.

Responsibilities

• Database Administration: Manage SQL Server environments, backups/restores, user configuration, role assignment, and job monitoring.
• Data Integration & ETL: Create, modify, and troubleshoot SSIS packages; manage data files with correct encoding.
• API & Web Services: Troubleshoot web services and APIs; validate responses with Postman/Hoppscotch; manage SSL/TLS certificates.
• Infrastructure & DevOps: Administer Linux-based SFTP; troubleshoot Kubernetes and Talend environments.
• Systems & Security: IAM management via SSO methods (SAML, Okta, Azure AD).
• Monitoring & Analysis: Analyze network metrics, disk I/O, and server performance; use Power BI and Advanced Excel for reporting.
• Business Domain Support: Assist in troubleshooting tools related to Supply Chain management and forecasting calculations.
