Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Sosnowiec, Poland, is seeking a Global Technology Services Buyer to lead strategic sourcing for IT services and telecoms. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate complex contracts, and drive cost and risk improvements while collaborating across IT, Legal, Finance and BU stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Purchasing/Supply Chain, Law or IT.
• Experience drafting and negotiating supplier contracts including SOWs and MSAs.
• Understanding IT buying landscape, SLAs, licensing, and KPIs.
• Ability to engage with IT, Legal, Finance and Business Stakeholders.
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for global Technology Services sourcing and contract negotiations.
• Manage regional supplier relationships and drive cost reduction and performance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with technology suppliers.
• Lead technology services category strategy and supplier development.
• Mentor Buyers and Analysts within the team.
