Job summary

Nexus Jobs Limited is seeking a Global Resilience Risk Specialist / Technology Risk Lead in Kraków to oversee enterprise technology risk across the bank. You will drive deep subject matter expertise, advise senior management, and ensure robust governance.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced degree and extensive experience in non-financial risk, with collaboration across global ORR teams and regulators. Location offers a hybrid model with potential international remote work.

Qualifications

• Strong leader with the ability to influence at the senior levels of the organisation.
• Expert level of technology risk management knowledge and relevant deep experience in this field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the internal control environment
• Ability to communicate effectively, building strong relationships and influence senior internal and external stakeholders
• Comprehensive knowledge of the external environment (threat, regulatory, geopolitical, competitor, technological landscapes)
• A change agent who challenges the status quo constructively and positively, leading relevant strategies that enable safe growth of the bank
• An advanced degree preferable in relevant discipline (e.g. Masters, Doctorate etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of tech risk expertise globally
• Oversee issues, events and incidents; supervise global technical controls
• Support ORR managers with tech risk queries
• Advise senior management on risk with governance
• Recommend risk appetite thresholds and monitor
• Guide policy writing and compliance monitoring
• Engage risk and control owners to ensure managed risks
• Oversee compliance via RCA, TRA and IAM processes
• Promote risk awareness and culture
• Identify trends and challenge remediation
• Define risk and control library with standards
• Define RCA scoping for tech controls
• Govern tech risk governance across stakeholders
• Report risk and control profile including env changes
• Monitor external env for emerging risks
• Provide guidance for ORR and regulatory reporting
• Escalate concerns with key controls and changes
• Lead regulator and audit engagement for tech risk
• Support training and capability uplift
