Job summary

Sonova International in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Senior Sustainability Regulatory Manager to establish a centralized function for environmental, material and product regulations. You will translate evolving obligations into actionable requirements, drive governance, and oversee end-to-end regulatory lifecycle across the organization.

The role demands 10+ years in regulatory affairs or related fields, with strong knowledge of REACH, RoHS, PFAS and Ecodesign, plus excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, materials science, engineering, law, regulatory studies or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in product stewardship, environmental compliance, sustainability or regulatory affairs.
• Strong knowledge of REACH, RoHS, PFAS restrictions, Ecodesign and Right to Repair across multiple regions.
• Senior-level experience establishing capabilities, processes and governance in global organizations.
• Translate legal and technical requirements into practical direction across R&D, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Management, Sustainability, Data and IT.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a centralized internal function for environmental, material and product regulations.
• Translate evolving obligations into actionable company requirements and governance.
• Design and continuously improve the end-to-end regulatory lifecycle from monitoring to remediation and closure.
• Establish governance structures, decision forums and escalation paths across product stewardship activities.
• Lead cross-functional gap assessments and remediation programs with clear ownership and risk management.
• Serve as the group-level product stewardship authority, guiding regulatory capability building.
• Strengthen product and material data governance and provide leadership with transparent metrics on regulatory exposure.
