Job summary

Job description

Position: Sourcing & Category Management Expert III (IT Global Sourcing and Contract Expert)

Salary: 7,100 – 16,600 PLN per month (adjusted financial ranges may differ from the remuneration regulations).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global business partners to understand strategic priorities and ensure adherence to the ING Procurement Policy.
• Lead end‑to‑end e‑sourcing initiatives (RFI, RFQ/RFP, e‑auctions), including gathering requirements, market research, evaluating proposals, TCO analysis, scenario analysis, negotiation, and awarding.
• Manage global contracts and their administration, ensuring compliance with negotiated and regulatory terms, service level agreements, and timely renewal, amendments, and termination.
• Manage third‑party risk and secure compliance with regulation and ING policy and standards.
• Support vendor relationship management, performance tracking, issue management, and resolution, facilitating supplier review and continuous improvement.
• Play a strategic role in ESG, procurement best‑in‑class practice, and cost‑savings initiatives.
• Support the Global Tech Procurement Category Team by defining needs, researching the market, running sourcing events, managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and driving significant year‑on‑year cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, computer engineering, business administration, finance, or a relevant field.
• 4–5 years of experience in IT procurement, preferably within an international financial services provider.
• Experience running sourcing projects in IT procurement (Software, SaaS, hardware, IT services).
• Strong negotiation skills based on data and facts.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating global purchasing agreements.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, independent, and comfortable working in international environments.
• Resilience and ability to manage ambiguity and complexity.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, multi‑tasking, and prioritization.
• Very good English skills (spoken and written, B2/C1).
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, e‑sourcing tools; experience with ERP systems or procurement tools is preferred.
• Certifications such as CIPS or NEVI and familiarity with regulatory frameworks (DORA, EBA, GDPR, or financial industry regulations) are extra points.
• Experience managing global sourcing projects for large international organizations.
