Job summary

DSV Road GmbH is seeking a Solution Architect to define and enforce global architecture principles and continuously improve our IT landscape. You will engage with Finance & Group Systems, collaborate with IT vendors, and work with the Global Enterprise Architecture team to shape our future architecture.

This role requires 3–6 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and a pragmatic, system-thinking approach in a fast-paced multinational environment. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
• 3-6 years of experience architecting or leading complicated projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to document architectural decisions clearly.
• Experience with API integration, legacy to micro-services, and event management.

Responsibilities

• Challenge, influence and support stakeholders to solve issues and realize the company vision.
• Specify technologies and architecture as the basis for development and implementation.
• Design and communicate architecture designs for new solutions within guidelines.
• Translate solution scenarios into models and roadmaps aligned to guiding principles.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure implementations follow architectures.
• Produce and maintain solution documentation and drive implementation per designs.
• Obtain approval of designs via architectural forums.
