Job summary

Venax Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Sea Freight Forwarder to manage and execute maritime transport operations, including FCL/LCL shipments, negotiations with shipowners, and coordination with foreign agents. You will prepare offers and drive terms to meet customer needs.

The role focuses on developing long-term customer relationships, ensuring compliance with shipping and customs procedures, and maintaining accurate transport documentation while delivering high-quality, timely services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sea Freight Forwarder.
• Ability to execute shipping orders in maritime transport.
• Knowledge of shipping and customs procedures for maritime transport.
• Proficiency in port systems.
• Achievement of budgeted objectives.
• Willingness to expand knowledge and improve forwarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive organisation and execution of maritime transport (FCL / LCL).
• Negotiating rates with shipowners and subcontractors.
• Cooperation with foreign agents.
• Preparation of offers and negotiation of terms and conditions.
• Building and nurturing long-term customer relationships.
• Monitoring the current situation of maritime transport.
• Maintenance of the required transport documentation.
• Attention to the highest quality and timeliness of services provided.
• Communication and relationship building with clients and customers.
