Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking an IT Architect to lead and evolve the Sales domain architecture in a global setting. The role focuses on establishing guardrails, roadmaps, and governance across applications, data flows, and integrations to support Sales priorities.

You will collaborate with Business and IT leaders, drive modernization and manage architectural debt while operating with high autonomy in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of IT architecture experience (domain, solution or enterprise)
• Strong understanding of Sales capabilities and landscapes (CRM, CPQ, pricing, customer interaction)
• Familiar with transformation programs (harmonization, modernization, global rollouts) in international environments
• Experience with architecture governance and decision forums
• Fluency in Polish and English (minimum B2); German is a plus

Responsibilities

• Owning and evolving the global Sales domain architecture (target state, principles, standards, reference architectures)
• Setting architectural guardrails for the Sales domain and approve target architecture decisions across initiatives
• Translating Sales strategy and business priorities into architectural direction and a multi-year roadmap
• Driving harmonization and modernization across applications, integrations and data flows within the Sales domain
• Steering architectural decisions through architecture reviews, decision forums and governance mechanisms
• Defining and enforcing domain-wide architecture standards and quality guardrails (e.g., security, resilience, compliance)
• Maintaining transparency of the landscape and support consolidation using LeanIX and related EA practices
• Representing the Sales domain in architecture boards and decision forums, drive cross-domain alignment with Enterprise and Solution Architecture
• Acting as a trusted sparring partner for Business and IT leaders, shaping priorities and roadmap decisions for the Sales domain
• Identifying and reducing technical/architectural debt through prioritized initiatives that reduce complexity, cost and risk
• Monitoring technology and architecture trends and assessing their applicability to continuously evolve the Sales domain
