Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company headquartered in the United States with a strong presence in Poland. This role focuses on standardizing Record to Report processes, transforming intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations, and driving digital automation across the RTR function.

As part of the team in Wroclaw, you will collaborate across regional finance and IT stakeholders to implement governance, policies, and automation initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years experience in General Accounting.
• Good grasp of accounting standards – US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Experience in working in a regional or global shared service environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with SAP background; BlackLine reconciliation background a plus.
• Advanced English.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities with good interpersonal skills across cultures.
• Ability to identify issues and provide resolutions.
• Ability to work in a self-directed manner with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end assessment of Record to Report processes and identify opportunities for standardization.
• Design global process standards, controls, operating procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct fit-gap assessments across regions and legal entities and define approaches for local requirements.
• Develop process KPIs and metrics to measure standardization, efficiency, quality, and automation.
• Partner with regional RTR and local Finance teams to drive adoption of new processes.
• Participate in standardization of global ICO processes and governance.
• Identify automation opportunities for recurring recharges.
• Drive standardization and optimization of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation processes.
• Support RTR digital projects from business requirements to deployment and stabilization.
• Translate finance requirements into functional requirements for tech teams.
