Hatch Ltd. is seeking a Principal Risk Specialist to work with clients and global teams to strengthen risk management across their organizations and capital investments.

You will provide independent risk expertise from strategic planning through design, execution, and operations, helping reduce cost and schedule variability while improving project outcomes. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead hazard studies, facilitate risk workshops, and maintain risk registers, driving proactive risk

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree from a recognized university, ideally in engineering or business.
• A professional risk or project management designation is desirable (CRM, PMI-RMP, GARP, PMP); MBA/PhD is nice to have.

Responsabilités

• Develop effective relationships with clients, Pursuit and Engagement Managers and teams.
• Develop project-specific risk management plans.
• Plan and facilitate risk workshops and risk reviews.
• Plans and facilitate quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis.
• Plan and facilitate hazard studies and other safety studies.
• Plan and facilitate decision analysis and value engineering workshops.
• Maintain project risk register and ensure risk actions are completed as planned.
• Provide timely assessment of current risk status and recovery plans where needed.
• Communicate and train teams in risk management processes.
• Assist with risk management procedures and knowledge sharing.
