Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Senior Release and Deployment Engineer to manage software delivery across multiple environments from its Krakow office. You will drive CI/CD pipelines, automation, and IaC, collaborating with global teams to ensure stable production releases.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/release management, strong scripting skills, Docker/Kubernetes experience, and fluency in English. International travel may be necessary, and the company offers a competitive package and career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years in DevOps, deployment engineering, or release management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Hands-on with Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, PowerShell, Python.
• Terraform or Ansible for Infrastructure as Code.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Linux administration experience.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability (ELK Stack or similar).
• Git workflows with GitHub/Bitbucket.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage release processes and deployment activities across all target environments.
• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Coordinate software deployments with manufacturing engineering, development, QA, and IT teams.
• Provision, configure, and maintain application environments, infrastructure, and Linux-based systems.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Lead Go-Live activities and ensure successful production releases.
• Travel may be required.
