Job summary

WSI invites an experienced Project Manager to join our team focused on orbital TIG welding projects across Europe. You will develop schedules, manage budgets, coordinate resources and ensure delivery milestones meet customer needs in industrial sites.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical/materials/welding engineering degree, 3+ years in project management, strong technical and communication skills, and proficiency in English. Hybrid work in Poland with up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical, electrical, materials or welding engineering.
• At least three years’ experience in a similar project management role.
• Strong technical aptitude and experience managing projects.
• Proven ability to plan projects and manage costs.
• Experience working with customers; nuclear, refining or mining industries is an advantage.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Very good English, with the ability to communicate confidently and read technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, including cost estimates and delivery milestones
• Ensure project deliverables meet customer requirements and agreed deadlines
• Manage projects from initiation through execution and close-out, maintaining operational efficiency
• Coordinate internal resources to support effective project delivery
• Monitor project performance against quality, cost, schedule and customer satisfaction targets
• Provide regular updates on project status and operational progress
• Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals for customers
• Contribute to business development through technical and commercial discussions
• Build and maintain customer relationships to support repeat business and identify opportunities to expand project scope
• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project
• Lead project reviews, including kick-off, progress, critical and close-out meetings
• Oversee cost reconciliation and ensure technical documentation is completed and closed out correctly
• Ensure project records comply with applicable documentation requirements
• Oversee project execution in the field, including site visits and resolution of technical and operational challenges
• Manage orders and subcontractors as required by the project
