Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a seasoned Global Payroll Lead to shape and govern payroll processes across regions. You will align strategies with the P&O Target Operating Model and drive harmonisation to reduce redundancies while enabling effective collaboration.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, data protection and strong governance with KPI-led performance insights. Advanced SAP HCM/SuccessFactors knowledge is essential for end-to-end P&O workflows.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management or a related field.
• Extensive process ownership experience in global P&O operations or within a large-scale, process-driven organization.
• Strong expertise in process governance, standardisation, optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to manage global stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI management, reporting and data-driven decision-making.
• Very good command of English.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors and end-to-end P&O processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish global process standards, governance frameworks and performance expectations to ensure consistency across regions and systems.
• Lead payroll process harmonisation by simplifying ways of working, eliminating redundancies and enabling effective global collaboration.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, data protection and corporate governance through robust process controls and risk management.
• Drive continuous improvement through KPI management, performance analytics, process optimisation and automation initiatives.
• Work with IT and P&O system teams to align process requirements with SAP SuccessFactors and related P&O technologies.
• Coordinate the implementation and adoption of global payroll standards and support their consistent execution across regions.
• Provide transparency on process performance through KPI reporting, process assessments and improvement recommendations.

An additional advantage will be

• Experience in a global Shared Service Center environment or P&O Target Operating Model implementation.
• Experience with German or Polish payroll processes.
• Training or certification in process management, LEAN, automation, project management or change management.
• Additional knowledge of advanced analytics, reporting tools, workflow solutions or digital P&O transformation methods.
• Further language skills, ideally German, and intercultural experience in global P&O environments.
