Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a PLC/HMI Automation Engineer to join our international team delivering advanced automation projects for the heavy industry sector. You will develop PLC software, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate worldwide commissioning with teams across Poland, Germany, and the United States.

You should have a higher technical education in automation or related fields, hands-on PLC programming experience (Siemens preferred), and good English. Frequent travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education, preferably automation, robotics, drive technology
• Automation experience in iron making plants, electric arc furnace
• Programming skills, configuration of the PLC based systems (preferred Siemens)
• Analyzing / reading electrical drawings
• Knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet)
• Good knowledge of English language
• Availability – frequent worldwide trips
• Nice to have: Other languages, especially German
• Knowledge of the PCS7 system and APL library
• Knowledge of visualization systems (preferred Siemens WinCC)
• Experience of commissioning of automation system

Responsibilities

• Development of the PLC software based on process documentation (P&I diagram, functional description, etc.)
• Preparation of the technical documentation of the project (automation systems) using MsOffice tools (Word, Excel)
• Commissioning of the automation system on the customer site (worldwide)
