Job summary

Aptiv in Poland seeks a Global PCB Expert for Fabrication and Production. You will help define and publish global design standards, process documentation and verification routines for PCB technologies across Aptiv factories.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive manufacturing, Lean/OPEX and Six Sigma Black Belt. International travel up to 50% and leading cross-functional teams are essential to drive PCB processes and IPC standard compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Chemical or Similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive industry, manufacturing engineering preferred
• Knowledge of LEAN OPEX with applicability in Manufacturing Engineering environment
• 6-Sigma certified, minimum Black-Belt and preferred Shainin Journeyman
• Understanding of electronics materials and PCB fabrication
• Able to travel ~50% and work in a global network
• Excellent project management and strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Strong written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Develop and release Global Design Standards for assigned technologies
• Develop and publish Process Documentation for assigned technologies
• Develop/Support Process Verification for assigned technologies
• Develop and publish training material for assigned technologies
• Provide technical support across Aptiv for assigned technologies
• Develop Strategy to advance assigned technologies
• Conduct and support Line Side Review process audits in global locations
• Utilize project management skills to implement robust process solutions
• Maintain and advance software solutions and automation for technology tasks
• Optimize process design to improve equipment utilization and material flow
• Understand and apply IPC Requirements and Standards within Aptiv
