Job summary

Flora Food Group seeks a senior packaging engineering leader to define, develop, and deploy the global strategy for packaging equipment design, filling and packing technologies across the business.

You will set technical standards, lead innovation, manage Capex projects above €5 million, and collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, and external partners to advance sustainability and circularity across packaging systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Process, Mechatronics, or Packaging Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in packaging engineering, FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Dairy environments.
• Proven track record leading mid- to large-scale Capex projects above €5 million.
• Experience developing URS documents, technical standards, and equipment specifications.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and deploy the global packaging technology roadmap across Flora Food Group.
• Lead Capex projects from feasibility to commissioning, including FAT and start-up.
• Develop URS, scope definitions, and design standards for packaging equipment and lines.
• Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and external partners on sustainability and efficiency.
• Evaluate new automation, digital, and equipment solutions to drive energy efficiency and circularity.
