Job summary

RemotePass, a global employment and immigration platform, seeks a Senior Global Mobility Specialist to own our most complex immigration cases end to end and be the go-to expert for the Mobility team.

You’ll run your own caseload of work permits, visas, extensions, and status changes, coordinating with Legal, HR, Payroll, and external counsel across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll mentor junior specialists and help scale a fast-growing, remote-first function.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years managing complex cross-border immigration cases.
• Strong knowledge of immigration compliance and cross-border requirements.
• Experience coordinating external immigration counsel and government agencies.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Practical understanding of data privacy for immigration records.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Own complex cases: manage work permits, visas, extensions, renewals, and status changes end to end.
• Be the escalation point for employees, managers, and external providers.
• Advise teams on eligibility, documentation, and compliance for hires, transfers, and relocations.
• Lead compliance by tracking policy changes and informing leadership.
• Maintain and update the immigration knowledge base with country requirements.
• Mentor Junior Global Mobility Specialists and liaise with external counsel.
• Design improvements to processes to speed mobility while maintaining compliance.
