Job summary

Wärtsilä Corporation is seeking a Service Engineer, Mechanical in Poland (preferred: Gdańsk). The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, overhauls, and commissioning on Wärtsilä engines and related mechanical systems.

You will work with a global Field Service team to ensure high-quality service at customer sites and vessels. The successful candidate will have mechanical engineering education, strong troubleshooting skills, and readiness to travel internationally for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Technical education in Mechanical or Marine Engineering with field service experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, repairs, and in-situ machining at customer sites and onboard vessels.
• Execute commissioning and pre-commissioning of mechanical systems and engines.
• Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and expense reports.
• Support testing, trial runs, audits, and investigations per Wärtsilä standards.
