Qualifications

• Technical education in Mechanical or Marine Engineering plus field service experience.
• Experience with Wärtsilä engines or similar medium-bore diesel engines.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Willingness to travel globally (about 70%).
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, repairs, and in-situ machining at customer sites and on vessels.
• Execute commissioning and pre-commissioning activities for mechanical systems and engines.
• Prepare accurate service reports, technical documentation, and expense reports.
• Support testing, trial runs, audits, and investigations while ensuring Wärtsilä standards compliance.
