You will lead a distributed engineering community, influence product development across sites, and ensure delivery of high‑quality, cost‑effective mechanical solutions. This role shapes engineering methods, tools, and capabilities, acts as a technical authority, and collaborates with business leaders to meet product lifecycle needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; master's/PhD preferred.
• 15+ years of mechanical R&D experience in global industrial environments.
• 10+ years in direct and indirect leadership across regions.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional engineering teams.
• Travel internationally up to 10-15% as needed.
• Strong strategic mindset with technical credibility and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Engineering Discipline worldwide, collaborating with engineers globally and aligning with business strategy and roadmaps.
• Define and deploy global standards, methodologies, training, and tools for mechanical design and development.
• Act as a technical authority to engineering leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Support program execution, design reviews, and readiness for project gates across sites.
• Promote cross-team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Drive skills development and career pathways; attract, develop, and retain top talent.
• Drive adoption of advanced tools and engineering practices; ensure quality work packages.
