Job summary

Hitachi Energy Global Engineering Center in Lodz/Cracow offers a hybrid Mechanical Designer [m/f/d] role. You will design transformer components, create 3D models and 2D drawings, and manage project execution with an international engineering team.

The position requires a degree in mechanical/electrical related field and CAD experience (Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD). You will collaborate across disciplines, meet deadlines, and contribute to improvements while benefiting from flexible hours, training

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• CAD experience with Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Inventor.
• Good command of English for daily international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of transformer components and preparation of technical documentation.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools.
• Manage assigned project execution and ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with international engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Support implementation of new engineering solutions and design improvements.
