Job summary

Hungry Minds is seeking a Logistics Director to own our global logistics operation, from Chinese suppliers to international customers. This remote, full-time role requires hands-on leadership of freight, warehousing, 3PLs and fulfillment.

You will design scalable, cost-efficient systems, establish forecasting, manage inventory across markets and partner with procurement, production and finance to drive on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in logistics or international operations
• Strong experience with physical products and international e‑commerce/DTC
• Experience working with Chinese manufacturers and suppliers
• Strong understanding of China → US/Europe logistics
• Experience managing 3PLs, warehouses and fulfillment providers
• Knowledge of international freight and customs
• Negotiation experience with logistics providers
• Inventory management and demand planning expertise
• Comfortable with data, costs and KPIs
• Excellent English communication

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Hungry Minds’ global logistics strategy
• Oversee flow from China factories to international warehouses and customers
• Own international freight (ocean, air, rail, express) where appropriate
• Build and manage relationships with freight forwarders, 3PLs, warehouses and fulfillment partners
• Negotiate freight, warehousing and fulfillment rates and contracts
• Optimize shipping routes, lead times and logistics costs
• Monitor inventory levels and stock availability across markets
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Finance, Sales and Ops
• Establish forecasting and replenishment processes
• Develop logistics KPIs and reporting
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
• Build scalable logistics infrastructure for growth
