Job summary

Roche Holding AG is seeking a Team Lead Engineering Terminology Management Platform to steer AI-ready data infrastructure and global platform teams. You will foster technical excellence, psychological safety, and rapid experimentation while unblocking complex cross-functional dependencies.

You will co-create architecture and a strategy for three core platforms, ensuring secure, scalable delivery of semantic layers and knowledge graphs at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive engineering and people leadership in global tech or life sciences.
• Proven track record leading distributed teams that build scale-out platforms and AI/ML pipelines.
• Experience navigating regulated environments is highly desirable.
• Advanced degree in CS/AI or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering teams across global platforms with focus on career growth.
• Monitor team health, metrics, and psychological safety across multiple teams.
• Co-create multi-year architecture and technology strategy for core contextual platforms.
• Oversee delivery, reliability, and security of semantic graphs and ontologies.
• Align senior stakeholders on unified semantic architecture standards.
• Drive modernization of platform engineering and lean agile practices.
