Roche seeks an AI Architect to own the enterprise AI platform and translate strategic vision into scalable blueprints. You will bridge agentic workflows with ML platforms, manage multi-cloud environments, and drive secure, cost-efficient AI deployments across the company.

The role requires deep expertise in AI/ML architectures, data frameworks, and governance, with a focus on scalable, compliant solutions. Hybrid work with some in-office collaboration in Poland is offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software architecture and engineering; 3+ years leading enterprise AI/ML initiatives.
• Experience architecting middleware, gateways, and backends at scale.
• Proven track record in regulated environments (Biotech/Pharma/Healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Architect and own the enterprise AI platform stack.
• Lead multi-cloud and hardware vendor management.
• Define technical standards and cross-team blueprints for AI deployment.
• Oversee AI gateway, data pipelines, and safety layers.
• Drive governance, security, and traceability across platforms.
