Job summary

ABB is seeking a Global IS Governance Assurance and Advisory Specialist to shape how governance is executed across our global organization. You will ensure governance frameworks are documented, implemented, adopted, and continuously improved, aligning IT with business goals.

In this role you will engage senior stakeholders, translate governance into tangible actions, and drive continuous improvement while balancing assurance with advisory.

Qualifications

• Extensive IT/IS governance, compliance and risk management experience.
• Strong stakeholder management across global functions.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with COBIT, ITIL or ISO/IEC 38500 is a plus.
• Analytical mindset focused on process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain IS governance frameworks, policies and standards.
• Monitor implementation of governance, compliance and risk frameworks; coordinate audits.
• Advise senior leaders and stakeholders on governance matters.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve governance processes.
