ABB is seeking an experienced IS Senior Service Owner for the Legal and Integrity domain in Kraków. You will orchestrate development and maintenance of IS services, transform and optimize BAU, and balance cost, quality and stakeholder expectations in a hybrid work model.

Lead a ~10-person team and manage a USD 5 million annual budget while collaborating with global partners in a diverse, international environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Information Systems (IS), especially in application and system lifecycle management, Service Management and IS Project Management.
• At least 3 years of experience managing external vendors in a managed services model.
• Experience leading teams of experts and SMEs to enable effective service delivery.
• Solid understanding of ITSM and ITIL practices; ITIL 4 Foundation cert and Lean certs are a plus.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in an international environment; fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Translating strategic decisions from Legal & Integrity and ABB IS into tactical IS objectives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining a framework for delivering IS services within the assigned scope, on time, within budget, and in line with customer expectations.
• Managing and developing a team of approximately 10 internal employees responsible for providing IS services to the Legal & Integrity function.
• Planning and managing an annual budget of approximately USD 5 million, monitoring spending and ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Acting as the global owner and main point of contact for business stakeholders regarding solutions and systems based on SaaS, cloud solutions, and in-house applications.
• Managing multiple global third-party vendor contracts to maintain service quality and optimize costs.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate IS requirements, ABB regulations, internal and external standards, and ABB IS guidelines and directives related to service delivery.

We are now looking for a professional who is able to take the position of IS Senior Service Owner for the Legal and Integrity Domain. Your role will be to orchestrate both development and maintenance of Legal and Integrity services. You will have an opportunity to participate in transforming and optimizing BAU (business as usual).

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Translating strategic decisions from Legal & Integrity and ABB IS into tactical IS objectives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

• Managing and developing a team of approximately 10 internal employees responsible for providing IS services to the Legal & Integrity function.
• Planning and managing an annual budget of approximately USD 5 million, monitoring spending and ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Acting as the global owner and main point of contact for business stakeholders regarding solutions and systems based on various technologies, including SaaS, cloud solutions, and in-house applications.
• Managing multiple global third-party vendor contracts to maintain service quality and optimize costs.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate IS requirements, applicable ABB regulations, internal and external standards, and ABB IS guidelines and directives related to service delivery.

Qualifications for the role:

• You have at least 10 years of experience in Information Systems (IS), particularly in application and system lifecycle management, , Service Management, and IS Project Management.
• You have at least 3 years of experience managing external vendors within a managed services model.
• You have experience managing teams of experts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), supporting effective collaboration and service delivery.
• You possess a solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL practices. ITIL 4 Foundation certification and additional ITIL and/or Lean certifications would be considered an advantage.
• You have experience managing senior stakeholders and collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups across different business areas.
• You demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate in an international environment.
• You are comfortable communicating fluently in English in a professional environment.
• You have a service-oriented approach, supported by well-developed organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.
