Job summary

Yunex Traffic seeks a Global Category Lead for IT and Digital Services to define and own the global IT category strategy. You will manage software, SaaS, licensing, and IT services, shaping demand and driving value across a multinational procurement team.

You will lead sourcing initiatives, govern supplier relationships, and translate market insights into actionable plans, delivering risk mitigation and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Experienced in strategic procurement and category management, ideally global or multi-site.
• Proven ability to translate category strategies into sourcing roadmaps and measurable value.
• Strong understanding of IT procurement across software, cloud, hardware infrastructure, and IT services.
• Familiarity with supplier governance, risk management, and cyber security considerations.
• Fluent English; German is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the global IT & Digital Services category strategy.
• Set sourcing priorities, governance principles, and commercial roadmap.
• Manage supplier and supply chain risk across the IT domain.
• Build forward-looking IT supplier market views including AI-related shifts.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align demand with strategic objectives.
• Lead or steer strategic sourcing initiatives for key suppliers and programs.
• Develop the commercial fact base using TCO, benchmarks, and licensing optimization.
• Coordinate activities across regions and stakeholders to ensure execution.
• Report on strategy progress, market developments and value contributions.
• Support development of global sourcing and category management operating model.
