Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst on a maternity leave backfill assignment in Kraków to support global tax compliance, reporting and advisory.

You will work within a highly skilled Tax Team that partners with external advisers to optimize processes across multiple countries. You will review and prepare schedules for sales/use and personal property taxes, coordinate with service providers and authorities, and help ensure accurate tax filings and timely responses.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of experience in US indirect tax compliance/consulting.
• Solid analytical and quantitative capabilities with data-backed analysis.
• Ability to create clear and concise documentation and work papers.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review Excel spreadsheets and work papers to support sales/use and personal property returns.
• Liaise with external tax service providers to ensure compliance and audits.
• Interact with tax authorities to resolve notices or requests for information.
• Analyze tax accounts and perform necessary reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to support tax-related financial operations.
• Coordinate EFT payments for taxes due.
• Review exemption certificates to ensure correct tax jurisdictions.
• Contribute to best practice guidelines to improve processes.
