Job summary

Siemens Energy in Poland seeks a skilled professional to support our HVDC Protection Team. You will test and verify hardware and software for HVDC projects, ensuring function and quality across test centers and customer sites worldwide.

Responsibilities include commissioning measuring and protection systems, performing Functional and Dynamic Performance Tests, tracing bugs, and supporting quality and risk management in improvement programs.

Qualifications

Degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable qualification.
Experience with HVDC systems and commissioning is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Advance energy transition by bringing HVDC projects to successful completion with customers.
Be part of Integration Testing and carry out Functional Tests of control & protection hardware and software in a test center.
Independently trace bugs and support Software Engineering in debugging.
Execute and document Functional and Dynamic Performance Tests of the HVDC system, including Customer Acceptance Tests.
Commission Measuring System, DC Protection System and Transient Fault Recorder at customer sites worldwide.
Support Commissioning Management in Quality, Risk and Claim Management and participate in improvement programs.
