Job summary

Dentons is seeking a Head of Global Sectors to lead the firm’s sector strategy, drive revenue growth, and strengthen relationships with strategic clients. The role collaborates with Sector Leaders, Relationship Partners, Practice Leaders, and Firm Leadership to execute sector growth plans across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in client development, strategic account management, sector leadership, business development, or sales leadership within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Significant law firm experience strongly preferred with understanding of legal services, partner-driven business development, and complex client relationships.
• Proven success developing and executing growth strategies that result in measurable revenue growth.
• Experience engaging directly with senior client executives and leading strategic business development initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead initiatives across a global, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the firm's global sector strategy and growth priorities.
• Drive revenue growth across priority industry sectors through strategic client development initiatives.
• Partner with Sector Leaders, Relationship Partners, and client teams to identify and advance significant opportunities.
• Develop sector-specific go-to-market strategies that align firm capabilities with client needs and market demand.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders and industry leaders.
• Promote collaboration across practices, regions, and jurisdictions to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
• Align sector strategies with the firm's strategic client and key account programs.
• Lead and develop a team of Sector Managers while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and commercial excellence.
• Monitor sector performance, pipeline activity, and growth initiatives to ensure execution against objectives.
