Job summary

State Street is seeking a Global Head of Business Operations (GHBO) within the Investment Management segment. The role partners with the COO to drive strategic execution, governance, and cross-functional coordination across global teams.

The GHBO will lead enterprise-wide business management, finance technology, and organizational transformation, shaping budget, metrics and reporting to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive executive leadership experience spanning strategy, portfolio execution and people management.
• Experience leading technology, finance transformation or finance systems teams.
• Investment management experience required.
• Undergraduate degree is required; advanced degree or professional certification such as MBA or CFA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic and operational objectives for the COO organization; align with SSIM priorities.
• Lead governance, performance tracking and executive reporting across the COO function.
• Drive productivity metrics, dashboards and quarterly business reviews with COO leadership.
• Oversee Finance Technology strategy, delivery and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across global teams and business units.
