Job summary

Siemens Energy in Poland is seeking a Service Engineer for Gas Turbine Commissioning to lead installation, cold and hot commissioning, and startup of large gas turbines at project sites globally.

You will work with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, procedures, and schedules while promoting a zero-harm safety culture. International travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years in commissioning or troubleshooting within power generation or similar industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of equipment and documentation in energy projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; IT literacy required.
• Willing to travel extensively (up to 100%), ~200 days per year.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently in international teams.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, cold and hot commissioning, and startup of large gas turbines and auxiliary systems.
• Collaborate with project teams and customers to meet contractual requirements.
• Ensure safety standards and high-quality procedures.
• Provide detailed daily progress reports and technical recommendations.
• Travel to project sites worldwide and support project delivery.
