Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Enterprise Architect to shape our enterprise architecture landscape. You will drive governance, guide application roadmaps, and connect business priorities with scalable IT solutions across global Transformers operations.

You will align IT strategy with business objectives, define target-state architectures, and translate demands into compliant, scalable solutions while collaborating with global IT teams and business leaders across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Experience bridging business and IT in global settings.
• Hands-on governance and roadmap planning experience.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ITIL 4) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise architecture governance across defined business functions.
• Partner with leaders to align IT strategy with business objectives.
• Define and maintain architecture roadmaps and target-state architectures.
• Translate business demands into scalable IT solutions.
• Ensure end-to-end consistency across processes, tech, apps, and platforms.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend enterprise-grade solutions.
• Collaborate with global IT teams on lifecycle planning.
• Guide Solution Architects and project teams during delivery.
• Support development of architecture processes, standards, and best practices.
• Improve EA transparency through data, reporting, and tooling.
• Align with enterprise principles and cross-BU initiatives.
• Contribute to decisions across sales, engineering, R&D, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, PM, and IT domains.

Contribute to the evolution of the Enterprise Architecture function while supporting business growth across global Transformers operations.

Your background

• 5-10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture.
• Experience working in international and multicultural organizations.
• Proven ability to bridge business and IT and influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with enterprise architecture governance and application landscape management.
• Knowledge of SAP LeanIX, ServiceNow, MuleSoft, Azure technologies, and Microsoft platforms.
• Understanding of TOGAF, ITIL 4, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
