Job summary

Siemens Energy invites a skilled Dimensional Inspector to independently conduct manual dimensional inspections at supplier sites for generator and turbine components. You will ensure inspections meet specifications and document discrepancies with cross-departmental teams.

You will lead supplier qualification, drive quality improvements, review technical drawings, and travel nationally and internationally to support global operations.

Qualifications

• A technical background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or metalworking, complemented by experience in quality assurance and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of preparing, executing, and following up on dimensional inspections for raw and finished cast components.
• Lead supplier qualification and development initiatives to enhance supplier quality and the quality of purchased parts.
• Implement preventive measures at suppliers to proactively address and mitigate potential quality issues.
• Collaborate with a global team and internal stakeholders to drive quality improvements.
• Conduct internal reviews of technical drawings to ensure compliance and accuracy.
