Job summary

Swap is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join the Finance team. You’ll manage accounts receivable, drive timely collections, and maintain strong client relationships while supporting global cash flow. This role suits a problem-solver in a fast-paced start-up environment, with room to shape processes as Swap grows.

You will implement new systems, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to policy enhancements in a dynamic, international setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in accounts receivable management, preferably in a tech-driven company with international clients and multi-currency accounts.
• Comfortable using NetSuite or similar accounting software and CRM tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Highly numerate with analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage cash collection by setting Direct Debit templates and communicating with customers.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices via phone, email and CRM tools; monitor credit accounts and payment terms.
• Collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, Customer Success and Finance to resolve billing issues as a cross-functional partner.
• Prepare debtor reports with comments and cash flow forecasts for management.
• Contribute to credit control policy development and new frameworks for bad debts.
• Assist in implementing software tools (ERP, AR portal, internal queries management).
• Support month-end closing and audit activities related to receivables.
