Job summary

Embla Medical is seeking a Cost Controller to lead the global standard cost update process and maintain COGS data across items. You will analyze manufacturing variances for sites in Iceland and Poland and provide insights to Finance and Operations leaders.

The role blends hands-on data analysis with cross-functional collaboration within a global team. Based in Poland with hybrid work options, you will interact with Finance Control, IT, and manufacturing leaders to drive cost savings and improve

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical skills with financial and operational data.
Experience in an international environment and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
Fluency in English; Polish language skills are advantageous.
Advanced Excel; SQL is an advantage.
Project-oriented approach with ability to gather and communicate information.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute the annual global standard cost update process.
Maintain COGS data and cost updates for existing items.
Monitor and analyze key cost figures and manufacturing variances for sites in Iceland and Poland.
Provide inventory and variance analysis to manufacturing management and Finance Partners.
Partner with local manufacturing directors on cost control and accounting matters.
Support Finance Control activities, including quarterly and year-end closing.
