Job summary

Takeda is seeking an Assistant Controller - Manager to strengthen controllership within the Global Finance Centre of Excellence. You will support close processes, balance sheet reviews, and IFRS/local GAAP reporting across assigned entities, acting as a bridge between markets and Global Finance CoE accounting teams.

You will coordinate month-end activities, assist with audits, ensure internal controls, and partner with FP&A, tax, treasury and consolidation teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Minimum three years in controllership, accounting, GL, or R2R processes.
Solid IFRS knowledge and experience with international close processes.
Experience with shared service centers or global finance teams in a multinational.
Strong communication and stakeholder management, English business level.

Responsibilities

Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close across entities.
Prepare balance sheet reviews and variance analyses for Controllers.
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and ownership documentation.
Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with policies and SOX requirements.
Collaborate with Global Finance CoE, FP&A, tax, treasury and other teams.
